MatEd Competencies Become Foundation for State Curriculum On January 25th, 2008, MatEd and Edmonds Community College Materials Science Technology facilitated a Statewide Materials Science Technology Frameworks Committee Meeting for the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. During this meeting 8-materials science high school teachers from across the state finalized the Washington State curriculum frameworks for Materials Science Technology in the high schools. The committee unanimously approved using the MatEd competencies for the curriculum frameworks.
